Now Ruining Video Games and Music Videos!

Last week, instead of fixing patches or monitoring the forum, the workers at EA thought it would be more valuable to make a dishonest music video in time for Ambitions. And they somehow managed to get Lady Antebellum to sing for them, too! The video, was odd, and most of the stuff probably won’t even end up in Ambitions. Specifically, the time travel part. It’s probably going to be a VR Goggles like thing.

Even Sims know rabbit holes are bad!

framed2  Someone explain to me why people would install time travel machines that work with other peoples’, and be fine with strangers just walking out? For once, the expression, eyes glued to the computer, makes sense.

framed3

Don’t worry, once I download you, you won’t have to go through crazy adventures! Time travelling will be boring. And less painful.

To see if other Simlish Music Videos are like this, I just decided to watch some more:

From Lily Allen’s Smile:

“What, EA? It’s not my computer, it’s your ****** game! No, I didn’t  install any custom content- No, there’s nothing illegal on my computer, Yes, I have the latest patch- Fine, I’ll hold…”

framed5

Why can’t there be community lots like this anymore, you know, like something people would want to go to in real life? And is it weird if I recognize the redhead’s hair as a Sims 3 Conversion?

Happy Birthday Pac-Man!

Pac Man turns the big 3-0 today, and what does this mean?

googlepacman

A Playable Google Logo. It’s a good stress reliever, but a time waster. Happy 3-0, Pac Man!

The “Stuff” You Really Should be Working on

stuff1 So allegedly, there’s going to be another stuff pack. Okay, that’s inevitable, let me rephrase: There’s going to be a beached theme stuff pack. After releasing the Sun, Surf, & Sand store set, this doesn’t make sense. Why wouldn’t they just wait before making this store set? Then again, it’s EA. They don’t really think stuff like this out.

stuff2

Frankly, if swimming would be involved, then I’d get more insulted. Why couldn’t they include swimming in beaches in the base game? And while it might not be a new EP, the “EA is greedy” part is true.

stuff3

Sandy0038 has a point. Unless they include new features, it would be pointless. I personally barely send my Sims to the beach/pool, mainly because it’s so boring there. And the beach in Sunset Valley seems like a picnic place with sand and an ocean, so we can’t really “Surf” there. Or use the “Sun” to tan. We can’t really build “Sand” castles, either. So this stuff pack would be pointless. And with all of their current atrocities, who would buy it? And why can’t they fix glitches or the forum or the exchange before making a stuff pack?

And sorry for not posting a lot, lately. School assignments are piling up.

Some Sims 3 News

Well, today, I took the time to send e-mails to Consumer Warning Network and Game Informer(I found both links from VidKid's blog. There are other links there, too) about EA’s acts.

Also, I read that The Sims 3 has sold 6 million since June 2009. That’s a lot. Apparently, TS3 is EA’s best social stimulation. Maybe that will change things?

I finally read something about Ambitions which actually tells us information, other than just the fluff information “You could control Sims at work. There’s a new mode for the interior decorator!” that I’ve been reading everywhere since March. But I’ll probably wait till July or whenever to get Ambitions, so I could read more reviews.

And lastly, I kinda learned how to install .rar files! “Kinda” as in they won’t show up in my game. :\ Oh well, I’ll learn eventually.

You’re SICK of these threads? Are you sure?

jarsie1 Can’t she even try to hide her hypocrisy? If these threads ‘annoy’ her so much, why can’t *she* ignore them?

jarsie2 Well said, LittleV.

Honestly, it’s crazy(understatement) how she expects people to ignore threads which she’ll comment in without thinking twice. And as LittleV said in her second paragraph, it seems like Jarsie9 just joined criticizes people in all her posts. She probably joined The Sims 3 Forum just so she could start arguments. I wonder how many people downloaded her Sim for reasons other than “Virtual Voo Doo Doll”.

Actually, Yes, I do.

goals

  • Learn how to install .rar files.
  • Finish a legacy.
  • Make an accurate self-Sim.
  • Get Ambitions, and try to avoid bugs.

I think I have more of a chance to accomplish the first three than the last one.

Really?

A few days ago, I was mad at TSR for not-so-subtle advertising of their subscription plans. Now, they gave me a new reason to be mad: image

Seriously, why? Most people like custom content sites because the things actually work, and they look better, and now they’re getting monopolized too? This is ridiculous. It’s even crazier how they expect people to give money to a site which can’t even get it’s facts straight about ‘plagiarism.’

Life after The Nanny

On a recent episode of Victorious I was watching, Renee Taylor, Sylvia from The Nanny was on. And she even had a husband named Morty, her husband’s name on The Nanny. I found it interesting. Charles Shaughnessy from The Nanny’s on Suite Life on Deck a lot, and I think Rachel Chagall (Val) was on What I like About You once? Now all we need is Fran Drescher on iCarly, and I’m set.

And Raven’s starring on Sonny with a Chance apparently?

EDIT: Wiki agrees with me.
