Did Disney just do a parody?

Yeah, I'm shocked, too.
So, on Free on Demand, I watched the new Suite Life on Deck episode called Family Thais, where London meets her grandma, who's a rice farmer in Thailand. London expected someone rich, and is in a culture shock. Sounds familiar?



The Simple Life, a reality show which starred Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie a few years ago. And if London Tipton is a parody of Paris Hilton, then this means this episode might have been loosely based on The Simple Life. Good job, Disney!
Unless it was unintentional.
The episode was actually good, too. Talk about a win-win situation. Then again, there was no Woody.
