Disney's Friends For Change

So Disney's been promoting their new cause, Disney's Friends for Change, a lot. Sure it's for a greener Earth and all, but I don't think Disney's doing all the promoting/advertising just for a healthier future.
What do I mean? Disney has had the Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, and Selena Gomez sing Send it on, Disney's Friends For Change theme song. If you'd download it via iTunes, then 1 dollar would go to various international environmental charities. Yeah, sure, sounds like a good cause, but if anything, Disney's sending on their recent stars' music, not the message.
I've seen plenty of these commercials, and most of them are with the stars, and barely mention going green. All they say is go to the Disney's Friends for Change website and "Reg and Pledge". Personally, I'm not so sure what this means. And after looking at the site, I didn't understand more, either.
Disney hasn't really helped kids go green; they haven't given much, if any, tips on how to go green. And the tips they do give are the simple "Turn your faucet off while you brush your teeth". Yeah, I understand going green is as simple as that, but really, Disney has to be a bit more active in the educational part, and less active in the musical part.
Will they improve as time goes on? Or will they continue to not send the message correctly? We'll see in Disney's later commercials for this cause.
